This cute stocky fellow is fun to make with your favorite worsted weight yarn and a size G hook. Skill level is easy. You will need to know basic crochet stitches (i.e., single crochet, half double crochet and double crochet) along with how to crochet in the round. The pattern includes detailed instructions in English, a materials list and notes and tips to help you create your dog. Besides yarn and a size 4mm G crochet hook, you will need, fiberfill, a small piece of white felt (optional), a tapestry needle and a pair of 12 mm safety eyes to create your dachshund. Need help finding eyes, check 6060.etsy.com for a great selection, or sometimes you can find them at Micheal's, Hobby Lobby or Joann's), but you can also use buttons or beads (if not making a toy). Finished dachshund is approx. 9 and 1/2 inches long and 7 inches tall.
