This sweet baby uses basic crochet stitches, worsted weight yarn (for baby, diaper, cocoon, teddy bear hat and teddy bear toy), sport weight yarn (for shirt and booties) and a size G (4 mm) and I (5.5mm) crochet hook. You will need to know how to crochet in the round. Besides worsted weight yarn, fiberfill, and a tapestry needle you will also need one pair of size 15 mm brown or blue of safety eyes (if you are unable to find them in your local craft store, 6060.etsy.com has a large selection to chose from) , a small piece of white felt (optional for under eyes). Your finished baby will be approx. 15 inches tall from the top of his or her head to the bottom of tips of her toes. Please keep in mind the size of your finished toy will depend on the type of yarn you use and your crochet gauge.
