Use appliques to embellish bags, notebooks, tags, book marks, cards, presents, scrapbook pages. Use them as ornaments, add magnets or pin backs. Hot glue them to flip flops, barrettes and headbands, sew them to clothes, slippers, etc. The possibilities are endless.

Pattern includes written instructions to make applique, a materials list, photos, along with notes and tips to help you finish your appliques.

Sample made with sport weight cotton yarn. Use any weight yarn and adjust hook size to make larger or smaller applique. Finished size approx. 4 and 1/2 inches from end of beak to end of tail 2 and 1/4 " from top of head to bottom of body.
