I'm thrilled to introduce my newest pattern. This sweet penguin is crocheted with medium worsted weight yarn, a G and E crochet hook. The sample shown has 12 mm safety eyes (you can find some here on Etsy or at most Hobby Lobby's. If you enter 12mm safety eyes in the search box under all items, you will get several options), or you can use beads or buttons. Skill level for this cute fellow is easy. Uses basic crochet stitches (sc, hdc, dc and crocheting in the round).

The sample shown is approximately 9 inches tall, but using a smaller hook and lighter weight yarn will give you a different size.

Pattern includes a materials list, detailed instructions (in English), notes and tips to help you complete your hippo. Optional materials listed include, 12mm safety eyes and plastic pellets (if you would like more weight to your penguin and he won't be used as a toy).
